Hydro energy constitutes a highly attractive investment opportunity in Romania. Once the Romanian government and parliament approved the new ordinance to subsidies the sale of renewable energy per MWh, the Hydro industry benefits in two ways:
a) 3 new green certificates per MWh will be given to the producer and
b) The hydro electricity produced will be sold.
